Red Lipstick for Thin Lips/MAC Russian Red

I fucking LOVE red lipstick. If I had to choose only one color to wear on my lips forever, it would be red lipstick. In fact, I want to buried wearing red, that is how much I love it.
I firmly believe that every woman of any skin tone and any lip shape can and should rock red lipstick. There are all sorts of different shades of red that suit different skin tones so there is really no excuse.

I recently added the famous Russian Red lipstick from MAC to my red lipstick collection. I absolutely love it. It definitely lives up to its reputation of being bad ass. It is a blue based red, which means it looks good on pretty much all skin tones and it makes teeth appear whiter. It is also pretty long wearing and it has a matte finish; my favorite!

Don't shy away from this bold lip color if you have thin lips like mine. This color actually makes your lips appear larger, not smaller. I first line my lips all the way around with MAC Cherry lip liner. It is important to stay within the the natural line of your lips and not draw outside of them. When the lipstick starts to fade you will be left with just the red liner outside your lips and you look like a fool. If your lips are a little uneven, then u can use the liner to SLIGHTLY correct it, not completely draw different lips on your damn face. Seriously. Do not do that. Not a cute look.

Oh and for the ladies with the full Angelina lips, red will be hot on you too. Just play down your eyes leaving them bare with black eyeliner.

Thanks for stopping by!

Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof Eyeliner/Easy Double Eyeliner

Long ago, I lost my Maybelline black gel liner and replaced it with the Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof cream liner in Midnight Black. I actually really like this more than the Maybelline liner. It is much creamier and applies very smoothly. It also doesn't dry up in the pot the way my Maybelline liner did (I hate that shit). The best things about it is that it is waterproof and it really does not budge throughout the day. I am definitely happy with it.

I am probably a little late on posting a trendy double eyeliner look, but I really do not care. I think it is a fun and an easy way to add color to your eye makeup with out looking psycho.

Below, I used the Smashbox liner (obviously) and Stila's Waterproof Liquid Liner in Electric on top of it. On the lids I just used Urban Decay's Flow  eyeshadow and blended it up towards the brow bone with Urban Decay's Freestyle shadow. SUPER EASY!

September Update!

Occasionally, I write a brief post updating all my 3 readers of what I am actually doing outside of putting makeup on my face for no fucking reason. Last month, I stated a new job, and I started esthetics school here in Las Vegas. It is lots of fun but it keeps me super busy, hence the lack of new posts. I am trying my best to keep this blog updated, but I find my self out of time, energy, and ideas. With that said, if you have any makeup ideas for me, let me know in the comments below! Or, if anyone has any makeup/beauty/anything related questions leave them in the comments box and I can try my best to give you a not-so-much-bullshit answer. AND follow Instagram!

Orange/Pink/Purple Sugarpill + Inglot Makeup on brown eyes

I realized that I tend to use a lot of blues and greens in most of my posts so I decided to try something different. These brights blend well into each other to create a fun and simple look.

I am not usually a fan of hot pink eye shadow because it brings out the redness in my eyes and makes me look stoned. I avoided this problem by incorporating the hot pink in the crease of the eye instead of the eyelid or under the eye.

The picture below is taken directly from my Instagram, so be sure to follow me there also and never miss a new look again!

Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer
Inglot Orange (IDK the #) on lid
Sugarpill Dollipop (pink) and Poison Plum (purple) in crease
Urban Decay Freestyle blended up to brow bone

Pink Eyeshadow for Brown Eyes! Maybelline

Just as the title suggests, this is simple, no frills, basic all pink eyeshadow on some brown eyes. I used the pink Maybelline Color Explosion Palette (click here). I used NYX JEP in Milk as a base to help the pink stand out against my dark skin tone.I also used a little Sugarpill Dollipop to intensify the hot pink in the crease. This picture is from my Instagram. Be sure to follow if you are not already. Happy Sunday!

Blue/White/Purple Sugarpill makeup

As the title suggests, I used mostly Sugarpill eyeshadows for this. I actually did this weeks ago. If you follow my Instagram you have probably already seen these pictures. Unfortunately, I do not remember exactly all the shadows I used. Sorry! Hope ya'll like it anyway.

I used NYX JEP in Milk as a base.

I used Maybelline's Color Explosion Blue Blowout palette for the light blue and sparkles.

Smashbox Black gel liner and a random mascara from Maybelline (?)

Blush is Victoria's Secret Luminous Mineral Blush Duo in At Last. (Click here)
